Numerous resources exist for faculty who are interested in helping their students prepare for effective study abroad experiences. Faculty who are leading a study abroad program could start first with the study abroad office or international office at their institution.
Professional conferences on study abroad:
Forum on Education Abroad -- typically in March or April
NAFSA: Association of International Educators -- national conference in May, regional conferences in October or November
WISE (focus on intercultural learning) -- typically in February
EAIE (European Association of International Education) - typically in September
